FBI A Parent's Guide to Internet Safety
http://www.fbi.gov/publications/pguide/pguidee.htm
While on-line computer exploration opens a world of possibilities for
children, expanding their horizons and exposing them to different
cultures and ways of life, they can be exposed to dangers as they hit
the road exploring the information highway. There are individuals who
attempt to sexually exploit children through the use of on-line
services and the Internet. Some of these individuals gradually
seduce their targets through the use of attention, affection, kindness,
and even gifts.
These individuals are often willing to devote considerable amounts
of time, money, and energy in this process. They listen to and
empathize with the problems of children. They will be aware of
the latest music, hobbies, and interests of children.
These individuals attempt to gradually lower children's
inhibitions by slowly introducing sexual context and content
into their conversations.

XP Service Pack Hides Microsoft Components By Peter Galli, eWEEK
http://www.extremetech.com/article/0,3396,s=3D201&a=3D27318,00.asp
Microsoft Corp. will release the first beta for the Windows XP Service
Pack 1 in the next two weeks, and it will include changes that allow
both computer manufacturers and users to hide Internet Explorer,
Windows Media Player, Windows Messenger and Outlook Express.
In late February the Redmond, Wash., software company said that it
was already working on incorporating the changes required under its
proposed settlement with the Department of Justice in the first
Service Pack for Windows XP.
Jim Cullinan, the lead product manager for Windows XP, told eWEEK
on Thursday that Microsoft continues to actively work toward complying
with the consent decree between it and the DOJ in the antitrust case.

Tina's FrontPage Tips, by Tina Clarke
If you wish to configure page of the larger picture of a
thumbnail do this.
1 Select the thumbnail you wish to link from. On the
Insert menu, choose hyperlink, or click the hyperlink Icon.
2 Click on "Create a page and link to the new page", (For
FrontPage 2000 which is the white page icon on the far right
of the Create hyperlink box =96 For FrontPage 2002 choose
=91Create New Document=92 from the menu on the left of the
=91Hyperlink=92 Dialog Box.
3 A dialog box comes up "New", with Normal page as the
default; normally you would use this, so click ok. (For
FrontPage 2002, you have the choice of naming the new
document. E.g. "myphoto.htm")
4 a) In FrontPage 2002 the file is then saved to your hard
drive and you return to the page with the graphic you
selected, still highlighted. Again, on the =91Insert=92 menu,
choose hyperlink, or click the hyperlink Icon. Scroll down
the list of files till you come to the one you just made
i.e. "myphoto.htm" select it then press ok.
b) For FrontPage 2000 you have to save the page and you need
to name it. (if you ticked =91Just add web task=92 when choosing
the template (3) the page will asked to be named and saved
and then close and you will have to go look in the folders
view to open it again.)
5 Open the file "myphoto.htm" (if your using shared
borders it is best to delete the shared borders for this
page only) and insert your large graphic, you can add text,
configure the background, centre the graphic anything you
want. Save the page, and when you have published the page
you should be able to click on the thumbnail and it will
take you to this file.

Faster Finding
When you need to find something on your system, do you
automatically select Start, Find, Files Or Folders, define a
folder or drive on the Look In line, and so on? Sure, the Start
menu is one way to start this search
utility, but depending on where you are at the moment, there
may be a faster way to get your search started.
Right-click any drive or folder--on the desktop, in an Explorer
window, wherever--select Find, and up pops the Find window
with that drive or folder already listed on the Look In line.
Even faster, from the desktop or an open Explorer window,
press F3 to open the Find:
All Files window already focused on the current folder.
