defaults to use one server but can be altered to check a variety of

"Use alternate locations from the list" select next and next to update.
This option should stay selected after the first time. This helps
Kaspersky lighten the load for updates and helps you obtain updates
easier.

Want to hide a folder/page from the FrontPage search and TOC
Bots?
Insert a underscore _ before the folder/page name e.g.
_myfile.htm _myfolder/
You may want access to the folder so be sure the hidden
folders box is ticked.
(Underscored pages are viewable in the navigation regardless
of the hidden folders box being checked.)
Tools | Web settings | Advanced Tab | Make sure the 'Show
hidden files and folders=92 box is ticked. Press ok. You will
be asked to refresh the web. Go to the Folders View where
you will find your new folder.

Windows Registry Checker Tool Editing
The Scanreg.exe file can be edited from the DOS command-line.
You can add the folowing 'swiches' to the 'scanreg' comand;
Description of Switches
The following table lists each command-line switch and its description:
Switch Description
----------------------------------------------------------------------
/backup Backs up the registry and related files without
displaying any prompts.
/restore Displays a list of available backup files, sorted
by the date and time the backup was created.
"/comment=3D<text>" Enables you to add a descriptive comment to the
registry backup.
/fix Repairs any damaged portions of the registry, and
optimizes it by rebuilding it without unused space.
/autoscan Automatically scans the registry and backs it up
without displaying any prompts if there is no
backup for that date.
/scanonly Scans the registry and displays a message if any
errors are found. This switch does not back up the
registry.
filename Scans the registry file specified and displays a
message indicating whether or not any errors were
found. This switch does not back up the registry.
/opt The /opt command-line switch causes the
Registry Checker tool to optimize the
registry by removing unused space.
