*** Mike's Error ***

My apologies to 'Handle With Care', for incorrectly identifying
him as working in the industry.

He is a Volunteer on www.hackfix.org and www.mirchelp.org

"I am a volunteer and don't get paid for my help with
computer viruses and trojans, which is mostly done in
real time on the EFnet IRC network, and do not WORK
in the "prevention industry" as such.
Saying so implies that I am an employee of Norton,
McAfee, etc.
I am self-employed at home in a field having nothing
directly to do with computer maintenance."

Hidden Features
http://www.dvdreview.com/html/hidden_features.shtml
Some DVD discs contain hidden features that are more or less easy to
find. Well, some are rather obvious, but others are quite a tricky beast.
On this page we want to help you find some of the so called
=93Easter Eggs=94 on currently available discs so that you, too, can take=
 a
look at those special features the publishers are hiding there.
If you find any hidden features that we do not list here, please send us
a short email with the description and we will be pleased to publish it
here on our pages under your name.

Clean up your Hard Drive Win XP
http://www.windows-help.net/WindowsXP/howto-16.html
Over time, your Hard Disk fills up with all kinds of stuff, and before you
know it, that drive you bought just a year or so ago, and whose capacity
looked great back then, is already alarmingly full.
You need a certain amount of "headroom" or empty space on your
harddrive for Windows to function properly. Things like the Windows
swap file require empty space on the harddrive for standby utilization
and your system can slow down enormously if it's not available.

Disable The Personalized Favorites Menu

We were recently asked why a portion of the Favorites folder
disappears after awhile in Microsoft Internet
Explorer. By default Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 (maybe even
5) hides Favorites that are seldom used. If you
don't like this feature, choose Tools|Internet Options. When the
dialog box opens, click the Advanced tab. Now, deselect the
check box labeled "Enable Personalized Favorites Menu" and then
click OK.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible
viruses, however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures
cannot keep up with the rapid change of viruses that happens daily.
