Eternal Reefs will mix your ashes with concrete and turn you into
an
artificial reef on the ocean floor.

Cremation is all the rage in the funerary world, accounting for
one-fourth of U.S. interments in the year 2000=97a number expected

to rise by another 15 percent in the next 10 years. Consequently,
alternative cremation services are popping up everywhere.
Houston-based Celestis will rocket your remains into space.
Celebrate Life Inc. of San Diego will send you off in a lavish
fireworks
display.
And, for somewhere between $1,500 and $3,200, Eternal Reefs,
a Decatur, Georgia, company, will mix your ashes with concrete and

turn you into an artificial reef on the ocean floor.

. Warning! A new version of the I-worm "KLEZ" is spreading across
the Internet
Kaspersky Labs announces the exposure of a new modified version of
the
"Klez" Internet-worm - Klez.h, already resulting in numerous
computer
infections in many countries including Japan, China, Austria and
the
Czech Republic.

To gain entry to a computer the worm exploits a vulnerability in
the
Internet Explorer security system (the IFRAME vulnerability). Due
to
this Klez is able to imperceptibly infect computers immediately
after
the infected message is read. This special feature practically
discounts
the human factor and many times over raises the effectiveness of
Klez.h
to infect and to spread.

To protect against Klez.h Kaspersky Labs recommends that you
immediately
update the Kaspersky Anti-Virus database. To remove the threat of
infection from the Klez.h worm and any other modification of this
worm,
you should install the required patch for Internet Explorer. It
can be
found on the Microsoft site at the following address:

ult.asp>

A more detailed explanation about the Klez worm family can be
found in
the Kaspersky Virus Encyclopedia at:

*** Greetings All, ****
Just an FYI regarding the new Klez outbreak today.
Not only does it disable and delete various security products,
it carries a new variant of Elkern, able to spread through network

shares. On vulnerable computers it automatically executes the
malicious e-mail attachment and has complicated randomization
routines.
Worse yet it contains a highly malicious payload to overwrite
local and shared drives on the 6th of any odd numbered month,
with May 6, 2002 being the first targeted date. Nows a good time
to
update your anti-virus and scan for malicious code from a clean
boot
disk.
I also recommend hardening your software and applying all
known security patches, especially for IE.

Sincerely,
Ken Dunham

 Backup To CD-RW 4.0 shareware
http://www.willowsoft.com/backup/index.html
this is an easy-to-use program for making backups to CD-RW, CD-R,
hard disk, over a network, and many other devices. Backup To CD-RW

can back up and restore your entire system, including the
registry, or
selectively back up and restore any part of it.
A simple user interface lets you select which files and folders to
back up,
and save this "backup plan" so you can easily make the same backup

again whenever you like. Backup plans are very flexible, and adapt

automatically if you move or rename files or folders, add or
remove them,
etc. It will use as many discs as necessary to hold the backup,
asking you
to insert new discs as needed.

Before you even think about letting your kids use the Internet,
you must set some rules for them and make sure they understand
them. Here are a few of the basics:

Never agree to meet someone in person or call them on the phone
without asking a parent first.

Never give out your last name, address, phone number, Social
Security number, or the name of your school
without asking a parent first.

Never share your login password, even with your best friend.

If someone tells you not to tell your parents about them, tell
your parents right away!

If you see anything that makes you feel scared or uncomfortable
(even if you just aren't sure), ask a parent or teacher.

Ask your kids to give you a tour of the Internet. You can find
out a great deal by seeing it through their eyes.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for
possible
viruses, however no virus scanner is 100% effective as
manufactures
cannot keep up with the rapid change of viruses that happens
daily.
Be sure to update yours regularly.
