Dear all,
I would like to inform you that positions for volunteers
and interns are required to be filled up for National Mission on Sustaining
Himalayan Ecosystems (DST-NMSHE) Project "Assessment and Monitoring of
Climate Change Effects on Wildlife Species and Ecosystems for Developing
Adaptation and Mitigation Strategies in the Indian Himalayan Region" at the
Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun under the thematic area *Human
Ecology*. The work profile involves baseline data (primary/secondary)
collection on natural resource use and socio-economic parameters; undertake
intensive research on human-wildlife interface issues, ecosystem services,
and provide assistance in creation of spatial database and scenario
building for ecological parameters with respect to climatic variables.
Interested candidates from Wildlife Sciences/ Zoology/Forestry/
Environmental Sciences or Management/ Life Sciences/ Biodiversity and
Conservation/ Social Sciences backgrounds are requested to fill up the
forms attached herewith and mail along with a CV, self interests( within
500 words) and a passport photograph to the following address.
