Greetings to all as we head into the month of holidays, parties and over
eating.
The Zola Radio Club meeting this Saturday, December 10, is going to be a
good one.
Our speaker will be Bruce Fleming, KI7VR.
This will be Bruce's second presentation to the cub. This time he has chosen
as his topic:
"HAM RADIO AND GEOGRAPHY."
I will say no more about it here except that it promises to be very
interesting. We hope to have a good turn out for the meeting
Also, on the agenda will be a progress report on the repeater. We have been
working hard to make improvements and have made some small gains but still
have a ways to go.
Upcoming reminders that we will be re-starting our Thursday night nets.
7:UP.ME. Newton repeater:147.36 PALL 67HZ, although, at the present we are
still operating with out the tone.
Finally, one more reminder about the holiday get together on Tuesday,
December 13, at the Sichuan's Garden Restaurant 411 Waverly Oaks Road,
Waltham 02452.
We will be commencing at 6:30 p.m.
Hope to see many of you at the meeting this Saturday and at the get together
on December 13.
