[macvoiceover] word doc to PDF


Hi All,
I am trying to convert a word doc to PDF. I open the doc using text edit thendo the below. Every thing works until I get to step 5. What am I doing wrong? 


1.  cmd+p to bring up the Print dialog.
2.  VO keys+i to bring up the Item Chooser menu.
3.  Press "u" key to bring VO to the first "Unknown".
4.  Press Return.
5.  Press VO keys+shift+space to activate the Unknown.
6.  Arrow down to Save as PDF, PDFX and many more.
