recently there was a thread on this list which contained material which caused vo to do weird things. in addition, it was a piece of spam but more on that another time.

I suggest two things when you encounter something like this:

1> send the offending text strings to:
accessibility@xxxxxxxxx
with a description of what happens when they are encountered.

2> send a description of the offending text strings and included the strings but modify them so that they do not cause the behaviour to the list so that we will know what happens when they are encountered. when you send the altered string to us, please tell us how they are altered so that we may if we wish to, replicate the issue.

There are a lot of new folk on the list and we don't want to scare them or even some easily scared ones like me who have been around for eons. It scared the pants off of me.
