[macvoiceover] Re: what Mac would you buy and why?

Clustering computer permits all the processors to act as one. parts of the job are "farmed out" to other computers in the cluster for processing and then the finished job comes back to the computer that originated it. Every computer has space processing cycles so it can be part of a cluster. Clusters are usually built up over high speed 100Mbit networks on a single switch. So if you did this with 3 dual- core intel mac it would be like having a computer with 6 processors in it.
