It does that if you place the keyboard focus on the messages table and
arrow down through the messages. Basically it reads every row
completely, and the "status" and "buddy" fields are generally blank so
it says "blank". I agree it would be great if there was an option for
VO not to say anything, but the fastest way to go through mail is to
interact with the table so I never go through messages the annoying
way anyway... I don't know if I'm being clear but oh well...
