it is enabled. is your audio volume high enough? It's subtle.

Hi,
I'm not getting any audio feedback when typing in a secure edit
field. Can someone please tell me how to enable this feature?

Hi David & all,
That's great news! I was going to write into the list to see if
there was any way to have some indication that text was being typed
into a secure edit field. I'm using the thin aluminum keyboard with
my iMac, and it's taking some getting used to.. I find that
sometimes I think I've pressed the spacebar only to find that
there's no space between words... so it'll be nice to have some
feedback in secure edit fields.
Thanks for this David.

All;
I thought I'd posted this so if I have, please disregard.
In leopard, typing in secure data fields like password entry
fields was silent. in snow leopard, each character input produces
a click that is quite distinctive from the other sounds you hear
in the environment.
