yes indeed, in SL you can set a keystroke to do this. On keyboard commander for example. go to vo utility, arrow down to commanders, select keyboard commander, type your preferred character on the keyboard, then over in the list select from web toggle dom and group navigation. your chosen character pressed with option key will now perform this action.
