I just went to the link that was posted with the problem of finding "join date". I picked a thread and went easily though the "join date" finds. First, to search, I did ctrl-option-f and typed join date and hit enter. For subsequent ones, i did ctrl-option-g. Of course interact with the html before you do this.

You can get a lot of help if you do vokeys-h. I did this in safari and under the commands menu was a whole "find" list with all sorts of find options.

Remember that when you use the item chooser in safari--at least this was true in Leopard and parobably snow leopard--you need to make sure you are interacted with the html before calling up item chooser. Otherwise when you hit enter on the item you probably won't be at the item. At least this is true using dom mode; I haven't used group mode a lot.
