[macvoiceover] shut down question

Hi all, sometimes, when I shut down, mainly from the control f2 hot
key, though sometimes from vo m, when I press vo space bar, most of the
time, I hear it say, shutting down, and then the computer shuts down,
but sometimes, particularly last night, it didn't say shutting down, I
just heard the window activation sound, and the computer must have
taken a minute to shut down, and I'm wondering, what is going on when
this happens where the computer takes a long time to shut down, and has
anybody else experienced this before. Thanks in advance for any
assistance.
