What can be done to disable predictive text in safari? When I do
command-l and start typing in a url to go and visit, safari thinks it
knows better where I want to go than I do. Also, safari isn't connecting
to the internet apparently or the http://www.logicalshift.daemon.co.uk/
web site is down. I'll try a few others but apple usually has software
updates available and according to software update it hasn't had any
updates to do on my system for the last couple weeks. Software update
didn't tell me it couldn't connect with the internet when I used it though
and I think that should be something a software update package should tell
a user when connection to any repository fails.
