vmware fusion or whatever, I see this as a potential problem -- if you
import a bootcamp image to vmware fusion, I am pretty sure it will ask

to reactivate because the virtual hardware is different.

You could, but the activation won't work i.e. Microsoft may wonder
that you have two different activations with the same product key.
