airport express should work for you then and it has the added bennefit that 
you can use it to stream audio from ITunes.  You will want to get the kit 
for it though if for nothing else than to have the cable that keeps the ae 
off the wall.

Don't need extra ports, just need a router that I can get aroud in.

As far as I know we have the latest, baught it in January and you
really need to play with the buttons to get it to except your new
information.  I am looking for something I can use well with Voiceover.
