[macvoiceover] Re: recording with the MAC?

Hi Keith.
You can use line in and audio hijack pro, both from www.rogueamoeba.com. Line in allows you to hook up your tape player using the line in jack on your computer; in the case of my mac mini I don't have a line in jack so I have a usb imic from Griffin that has a line in jack on it. audio hijack pro will then allow you to record from the line in application. You can then either burn with iTunes or finder; I think there may be an option in audio hijack ro for burning but I haven't tried it directly; probably just uses finder but I don'tknow for sure. Partly it depends on whether you want to make an mp3 cd or a straight audio cd. At any rate, line in and audio hijack pro will make it pretty easy to do the recording part.
