Hi all, when entering preferences in vlc player, it seems the only way to get out of them is to close the player with command q, and usually, you can just do command w to close the preferences window, so is there a way to close preferences in vlc without closing the player? Also, are there buffering settings in vlc, because I tried looking around, and couldn't find anything in either input and codaks, or one other place, and usually, there are provisions for adjusting the stream buffer in a player, and also, is there a way to have vlc show the title of a given stream like you can in itunes or real player? Thanks in advance for any assistance in advance.

Marty
