 Hi there:

I thought that command o was the way to open a document in Text Edit, but
obviously I'm doing something wrong. Every time I try it the program tells me
that there was an error when connecting to the server and then it crashes and I
have to force quit it. It didn't even want to quit last time because it was
too busy giving me that error over and over again. As soon as I hit ok, it
would pop up again. I know that it's probably because it kept trying, but darn
it, what do I do? I think that it may have been trying to access Dropbox or
Time Machine rather than my hard drive and for some reason it was having
problems. I lost some important information that I had just typed in another
window as I turned autosave off becaus of my little "selected item 0 items
replaced" issue. I've got to get used to the fact that it is disabled. Thanks
for any suggestions. I feel kind of silly as I am sure I did something wrong..
 Thanks.>
