Hi,
vo does of course not read images but finereader should be able to do an ocr
from an other source but the printer/scanner namely a pdf file.

Because vo doesn't read images, it would have to be a file where I could
read. (I'm not sur what that is called.)

Abbyy should do it and Omnipage does it as well.

Ok guys, sorry to be such a pain. I have one (Hopefully) more question.
I am using my hp printer, I've scanned a document just to try it out, and
I know you have to have an ocr software to be able to read it, but I'm
wondering if there is a way to be sure the printer I already have will be
compatible with abbyyy since that's the program I'm looking at.
The document scanned and saved, but it was an a pdf immage. So obviously I
can't read that. :)
