Sometimes, like right now, I do something that causes me to get into an area that vo simply calls "window". In this instance I went from the messages table into the menu bar to look up something and when I pressed cmd-w to exit the menu bar,I got into that window where nothing I do functions. Is there anything I can do besides cmd-q to restore me back to where I was previously? Thanks.
