hi Peggy,
welcome to the mac world. i am a mac swicher as well and finally use
my mac for all the work i need to do with computers. i have a lot to
learn , but i feel great ... just like you i like how thin is my
macbook and i bring it with me everywhere. the battery seems
inlimited and i just find new things every day. it's been almost 3
months since i bought it and i can never get tired to learn
something new. i don't know but perhaps this is the most exciting
thing about mac ... it never stops to reveal new interesting things.
like some guys said before , the difficulties that i encounter are
caused of me being used the to do things in some strange way
and i often fail to go the simple mode. then my brain makes it up !
and i wonder how could i ever use some other ways ...
i hope i was comprehensive .... i live in italy and i have to
improve my language skills.
i hope you enjoy this new adventure e.
here in this list i really found a lot of usefull info and support.

Peggy,
Welcome to the list and to the MAC.
You may have said that you took a look at,
www.icanworkthisthing.com
under MAC with Voiceover.
If you have not, please do so.
You will want to take a look at Using MAC Applications with
Voiceover, Leopard adition.
This and a number of other things I think will be a help to you.
Once again, welcome.

Hi:
My name is Peggy and I have recently purchased a Mac and am
learning to use voiceover. I joined the list last night so wanted
to introduce myself. I have already gotten some good information
from the archives and the home page. I look forward to learning
all about my mac and voiceover and to meeting you all.
