For those that have Read Iris, and have used it with a supported
scanner, what would be the best scanner to get? I do have an HP
scanner, which I got back in 2001, doubt that would work. What people
seem to have quite the hastle with is getting the scanner to work
with Read Iris. So I'll put this to Cheryl directly, what in your
opinion Cheryl, would be the best scanner for me to get that works
well with Read Iris? The lide 90, which I believe is a Cannon
product? And would i absolutely have to have both Read Iris and
Vuescan to get good OCR results? OCR on the mac is something that I
haven't really gotten into as of yet.

Actually, you can scan with vuescan and then automatically have
readiris pro open with the scanned image. If I still have the post
that explains that I'll try to re-post it for you; it may be a while
before I find it but I'm sure I still have it.
