Did you activate the ipod on your audible account? The books can be on the ipod, but won't play until you add the ipod to your list of devices on your account. You may need to call audible to get it added, or they can tell you how it is to be done. I can't remember what I needed to do to add mine to the account.

Maybe each of the audible books you downloaded is too large for the ipod's memory capacity to handle. On Fri, 21 Mar 2008, Ginny wrote:Hi, listers. I have been adding music to my ipod by selecting "add selected songs and playlists to ipod," making a playlist, and selecting it. However, the audible books in this playlist don't seem to be on my ipod. My audible account is activated-I can definitely play audible books from my itunes. First, is there a better way to add specific music to an ipod? Secondly, isthere any reason why my audible books aren't being added?I know that someone suggested that "ipod" would be one of the playlist options under the "add to playlist" submenue, but it isn't for me. I hopethis makes sense. Thanks in advance for your help.
