It works fine on my Macbook air as of sierra but I am running the beta. It is a
great simplification from all the keys we used to have to use on both laptops
and iMacs. Wether or not you have a separate home key depends on which keyboard
you are using but home should no longer be needed as of sierra for going to the
top and bottom of lists.

Oh, if I don’t use VO, it doesnt’ take me up and down, with just the reported
home and end keys that key describer says FN left and right represent, seems
like it needs the VOiceover cursor to do the heavy lifting.
