you read html in safari, the text I was referring to is in the html. There is no find command but there are lots of ways to view safari content.

Tasha,

no keyboard necessary for web browsing unless you want to fill in addresses or forms. no books can be read unless they are html based with text.

hi, I think both of these questions have been covered before, but I don't think they were fully answered.

1. Is it possible to read books on the iphone? (i.e. can I download something from bookshare or email myself a word attachment and read it relatively easily? Do any of the programs that read word or text documents have a find command? Reading long documents on my e71x is a nightmare, so really want to find a phone that reads books well.

2. How easy is web-browsing on the iphone? Once you get the hang of the keyboard, is web-browsing comparable to a smartphone?

thanks,
tasha
