[macvoiceover] Re: mail message rules

I have the same rule set with subject instead of from and it works perfectly. All messages from these list have the list name on the subject line, so it can't possibly fail.

Hi Sam,

I know what's going on with your rules now. The same thing happened to me. Your creating the wrong rules. That mailing list doesn't have its name in "From". Its found only in the message content. I did something like that but I picked subject line and then I realized, viphone isn't there either. lol. So just edit the rule to look in the message content.

The mac lists rule I created is active. First, there are two buttons for any and all; I have any selected. Then the criteria: first, from, contains "vimac; second, from, contains macvoiceover; action, move to; mailbox, Mac lists was created and is selected. So that's what I did but they're still coming to the inbox.

If the rule is active and still isn't working, you may need to send us exactly what you did for your rule for us to be able to help you. Check over your criteria and actions under the rule first though.

Hi, all,

I created a message rule that would move all of the messages from Mac lists to a Mac lists mailbox but so far, they are still coming to my inbox. At the end of the creation process I was asked if I wanted to move messages from currently selected mailboxes and I chose don't apply. Could this be the problem?
