[macvoiceover] Re: issue with gmail in mail and safari?

In gmail help on their site, there is a guide to setting up apple mail 3.0 for pop.
In mail preferences, is your account. on the site, there is a login form. login to your account on gmail's web site to make certain you have the correct user name and password. then, follow the gmail apple mail 3.0 help guide for setting up gmail.
We spent a lot of time on this and found that for some reason, the account settings in apple mail were not correct even though mail had been coming in from the account till it stopped and we couldn't send either.

I think you are correct about this being an gmail issue and your fix is on track. I have the same issue from time to time, but, it may not happen for months.
