I think most blind users hate the on screen keyboard at times but as for an
external keyboard I am unsure if Apple has opened that port for bluetooth yet.
Siri works by pressing and holding the Home button until you hear the chime.
once you hear the chime you will hear Siri ask you what you need. You talk she
listens and the action is carried out. You can choose to do your commands in
steps or all at once which ever suits you best. Example.
create appointment
March 16 2012
at 12 pm
lunch with John

or create appointment at 12 pm on March 16 2012 lunch with John.

If you choose to do it the first way you will have to repeatedly tap the on
screen button in the siri window that says "Listen." If you choose to do it the
second way pressing the home button once will work to do the same thing.
