Well, I think you will need to search them out and delete them.
When you remove a program, it is best to remove it with something like
app-zapper which takes every bit of the program out, otherwise, you
may have trouble with the new install.
HTH.

HI Keith,
Thanks for looking into my iTunes problem and for those tips. Just
for the
hell of it, I will give this ago. As I mentioned I know that it has
some
great features so if this fixes my iTunes problems then at least
I'll have
two players to choose from. When I deleted iTunes, I assume I would
have
gotten rid of the iTunes preferences as well or is this preference
file
stored in a library directory? Thanks in advance,

Hi David,
I did some checking on your iTunes problem and it has happened to
others and is usually caused by a crupt file issue. This problem is
solved by,
1 deleting the iTunes preferences.
2 a new iTunes install.
Some folks have over 22 thousand songs in there library and are
having no problems.
I my self had to do a complete iTunes reinstall a couple of years ago.
I for one am not mad at you if you are not using iTunes as long as you
find something that works for you.
As we say here in the states, "whatever turns your crank"!
Have a good one.
