I want to know that one as well. It is one of the only things I can't
manage to do with my iPhone.

Subject: [macvoiceover] iPhone and pushing 1

How do blind users "push one" when asked to do so on a phone messaging
systems on the iPhone. We can not hear the screen reading when the
phone is in use and telling us to "press 1"
