Cheryl,Well, I got ReadIris working OK with the LIDE70. The scanner is definitely not locked. VueScan still reports no Intel driver. It's strange.

Yes, as a matter of fact, for instance, if you don't move the camera to the corect side to unlock it Vuescan will say it can't find the Intel plugin. What's tricky about this is that not all models work the same; with the canoscan 60 the camera is unlocked when to the left; with the 90 to the right.
