Cheryl, David and others,
When this list was started nearly a year ago, it was started not to
replace any other list, but it was hoped that on this list that we
could stick to questions that were Mac and Voiceover specific. I
have been gratified over the last several months that this has begun
to happen. In this day of massive amounts of e-mail posting a
question to two lists at once adds to the volume of e-mail. I've
found that most people who use Voiceover are kind enough to answer
most any question, but asking two different people on two different
lists to answer the same question may be redundant. If you can't
find the answer on one list, certainly there may be somebody on
another list who has the answer. In this day and age of instant
gratification, maybe we could give those on one list a little time to
answer before we try another.
Please help me with this.

Could we maybe not post general questions about Macosx to both mac-
discuss and mac-voiceover at the same time? It's my understanding
thatt mac-voiceover is more specifically for voiceover questions
though I know that distinction can be fuzzy at times. Anyway, I
don't mean to be difficult, but I find it somewhat annoying to get
the same posts for both lists and some people are posting everyy
question at the same time to both lists. Maybe we could discuss
parameters as again I really don't mean to be difficult. If nobody
but me is bothered by this, I'll just go no mail on one list and
read archives on the web as it may just be a personal preference on
my part.
Thanks.
