Hi, Phil,
First of all, if you are interested in the MAC for Safari, mail, and text edit,
those are primarily what I use my MAC for, and have little to no problems.
I found the bug where mail crashes when you try to create a second signature,
and Apple has been apprised of it. Knowing them, it will be fixed as soon as
possible, in the next mini-update, I would presume. I have not had mail crash
at any time, and have had no other problems when it comes to mail. I read mail
with the preview pain (note the spelling grin) closed, but that is personal
preference.
I do get busies in Safari sometimes, but if they last more than about 30
seconds or so, I turn vo off and then on again with command-f5 and the problem
is resolved.
I have had no problems in text edit, and find it a fine word processing app.
As has been pointed out, this list is to discuss vo on the mac, and of course
those who post are going to be asking questions, most times about problems they
are having.
As for me, I switched to a MAC almost 9 months ago, and have not looked back
even once! Hope this helps! Marcy
