Hello Randy,
In the event details scroll area, using VO right arrow, you will find an Alarm
popup button. There you will find the option to select a reminder Message,
message with a sound or the option to have your message sent as an email. When
you make your selection, VoiceOver jumps to location, so you will have to VO
left arrow back to the alarm options. Next you will select the amount of time
prior to your appointment you want the alarm to appear. There is an edit box
to insert time and a popup button to select in relation to minutes, hours or
days. If you select something other than minutes, VoiceOver will jump to
location again. You have the option to select multiple alarms. If you wish to
set an additional alarm, simply VO left arrow back to the alarm button and
repeat the process. An additional alarm button will appear following each
previous set alarm. When you are finished with the alarms and such, just stop
interacting with the event details scroll area and hit the done button.
I'm assuming you know how to title and schedule your calendar event. If you
don't, I'd be happy to fill in the blanks.
