[macvoiceover] best news paper site

At the bottom of this e-mail is a link it to The Tennessean, and I think it is the best newspaper site for screen reader use. The first page is a page of links, like local news, from those links you go to the story links page, each one of which takes you to the story; just the story and nothing extra. There are no graphics on the story pages, other than The Tennessean logo. I think this should be a model for all other news sites. The main Tennessean site is almost unusable, with 400-700 links, but I found the screen reader friendly sub-site from a link called wireless. It is meant to be read by cellphones and pdas, but it is the perfect site for a screen reader. I don't imagine that many of you are interested in the Nashville, TN news, but if we could appeal to other news sites to use this as a model, putting a link at the top of their main page to the "screen reader friendly page" then we would all be much better off.
