I would think so. the keyboard will be layed out a bit different as well. but that shouldn't be a big deal.

Oh it's fast enough. How much RAM does it have that is the question. Also be aware that as it has PowerPC processor it will not be able to run Windows at all. I have one of these and it runs very well. 

I'd offer $500 myself.

IT is a G4 PowerPC processor this was the processors used by Apple until they switched to Intel processors a little over a year ago.
