[macvoiceover] Re: a few questions

In answer to your question about audio editing software, there are several from which to choose. Audacity for the Mac is a free, open- source sound editor that will do basic functions. Second, there is Sound Studio, Highjack, and to a certain extent, iTunes. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.

Hi all.

I have a few questions.

I am loving my mac, but am a bit confussed about a few things.

Firstly, when I go to the doc, there's a few apps, a dashboard (which just has some network thing in it) , a documents folder and a asplications folder. I'm not sure how this all works. Mail and the web browser in in there too. It seems to be a bit like the windows desktop only different.

Can any clarify all this for me?

Also, I was wondering what audio editing software works with the mac. I have a olympus dm 520, and I want to take my recording and edit them.

Thanks.
Steph
