[macvoiceover] a few questions

Hi all.
I have a few questions about the mail on the mac. At the moment its sending and
recieving automatically and I'd like to turn this feature off. Also, how do I
have my messages sent by a certain account by default?
Also, is there a shortcut key to have the time spoken like with windowns?
