I was bored and figured this out. Sorry if you've red something like
this before, but in safari, if you see an e-mail, or you just want to
send someone an e-mail, please follow the following steps to quickly
load mail and send a message. Please do note, i've only tested this
with leopard, please leave me a comment and let me know if this works
for tiger as well.
1. press command+l
2. Type "mailto:/personalemail@xxxxxxxxxxx" replace the text after the
"/" with the e-mail address you would like to send messages to. Do not
put the quotes in safari
3. press return
4. mail will open and put you in the subject field or it should. I've
noticed that focus isn't always on this subject field, if not you can
just vo around the screen and attempt to find the subject field.
5. you can then compose your message how you would like
6. then press command+shift+d to send the message, and your placed in
the inbox of your mail program
7. go threw your e-mail, or simply "apple q" to close the program
hth a bit
Please go to
http://www.gwfans.net
to leave your comments. VO+command+h to get to the "a quick leopard
mail tip" and scrole down the page, vo+space on the word "comment" to
load the comment submition form.
thanks
