Hello, I'm not David, but I now download only the newest combined updates. In this way, nothing should be left out as might happen with the incremental updates. I just did a search for Combine updates from the Mac OS X software option from the Apple menu.

What's the permissions repair bug? Is it that disk utility isn't working or something to repair permisions?

The permissions repair bug is back in this release so you may want to just go ahead and get the combined update if you haven't already if you are concerned about this.
