Hi Hank, if you mean, that dvd's won't work, or certain dialogs won't work the way they should, then you need to get a dvi to video adapter, and it should be about $20, and the part number is m/9267, if I remember correctly, and it has the box at one end that goes where your monitor goes, and the other end has an r c a plug, with a short cable.
