[macvoiceover] Re: VMWare Fusion Installation

Yes sorry I meant getting to the edit box, not the edit box itself. I couldn't get into the settings; they said "unknown" and I didn't know which setting they were. It's probably a matter of counting to find the right one but that's not acceptable for me when dealing with something like building my very own computers virtually of course. lol

The problem I have with fusion is that VO doesn't seem to be able to read a lot of the settings for changing your virtual hardware.

Not so. In both version 1.X and 2.X, hardware changes were completely accessible. You can, for instance, change the RAM by typing the amount into the edit field. You could interact with the slider, too, if you like, but it's easier to type into the edit field. Getting to the right bit of hardware even works (but I can't remember how it's laid out just at the moment).

*My* particular issue with Fusion is that version 2.0 is a *lot* slower than version 1.X was. I mean, the VM takes for-bloody-ever to start up. I'm sure upping this MacBook from 1 GB to 2 will help, but still. It really is considerably slower on my system.
