 Sara et al;

Please please please don't worry about messing up VO or your Mac
with the remote. <smile> It's perfectly useable / accessible.

Here are just a few things you can do with it:

• press and hold the play button (the large button in the center of
the directional ring) to put your Mac to sleep.

• Press any button to wake it back up.

• Use the up and down areas of the directional ring to control the
volume of your Mac.

• use the left and right areas of the directional ring to move between
songs in ITunes.

• press the Menu key (the small key on its own in the center of the
remote) to bring up Front Row.

• Use the directional ring to navigate within Front Row.

• Use the play button to select and play Front Row content.

Hope this helps you all get started with the remote!… -Enjoy!…

Smiles,

Cara :)

Haha that's funny was thinking about asking if anybody had used the
remote. lol
I have one too and haven't had the nerve to try it in case it messed
up VO which I bet it will. If you try it, make sure you have sighted
help in case it all stops talking.

Yes, I got a remote with my last mac mini and wondered if it was at all accessible. It's sitting in a drawer because I haven't gotten around to trying to figure it out.
