I think the only thing what happens when you try to use the remote is
that FrontRow shows up on the screen. I don't think it's compatible
with VO, but it certainly won't do anything bad to it. It's just an
interface that lets you browse your media as if it was an iPod...

I have one too and haven't had the nerve to try it in case it messed
up VO which I bet it will. If you try it, make sure you have sighted

Yes, I got a remote with my last mac mini and wondered if it was at
all accessible. It's sitting in a drawer because I haven't gotten
around to trying to figure it out.
