[macvoiceover] Re: Turning tapes in to CDS?

Hi Keith.
It really isn't daunting once you do it a couple of time.

1. Plug your tape player to your computer via the line-in jack on the imic.
2. Not sure how you do this if you haven't downloaded line in, but what I do is start the line in application and click on passthrough.
3. Hit the play button on your tape player and see if you can hear it through your computer speakers. If not, try moving the switch on the imic. Also, you may have to change the input volume in sound under system preferences.
4. Start a new session in audio hijack pro with cmd-n.
5. Make your selections in the input; I choose line in as my application.
6. Also click the recording tab and make your selections there.
8. click hijack with the tape playing and see how it sounds. You may have to play with the input volume in sound under system preferences to get the sound right.
10. When satisfied, click record and start your tape. You can click "mute" if you don't want to listen.
