Yes, did just try it again, but nothing happens. So now I'm just trying some options that I find in the menu's. I just found the menu option Add To Library within the File menu of iTunes. In the dialog I could select my external hard disk, and now he is very busy (again, but now with a good reason I guess).
But I'm not sure, but I guess he is moving all the titles to the local hard disk.
I don't care if he is making garbage of my system. I have a backup of my music folder and formatting and installing the OS again is gladly something we can do without sighted help. It may also fix a problem I have with my wireless connection.

Is it possible that I can tell iTunes that this location on my external hard disk is the location for the media files? When I enter this location within the Advanced settings of iTunes nothing happens.Tips are welcome.
