Hi Russell, in verbossity, there should be a pop-up that gives you a
choice as to what to do when deleting characters, just set this to
nothing, and Alex will be his smiling self again. Verbossity is one of
the new options in the voice over utility with vo f8, just first, go in
to keyboard in system preferences and check the box that says use
function keys as normal keys, if it isn't already checked.

Hi all,

Since updating to SL, when typing in an email message, if I press the
delete (backspace) key to delete the characters I just typed, Alex
voice goes really really deep and it sounds like he's going to die!
If he keeps this up, he may, with a bit of help from me! <grin> Has
anyone experienced this? I tried unloading VO and reloading it, but
this doesn't help. Any ideas? Please??

Thanks,

Russell
