[macvoiceover] Removing the Real Player DMG File

A while back, I discovered that I haven't been able to use the Real Player because I didn't remove the DMG file from the hard drive? Is it necessary to remove it and if so, do I select just the DMG file to remove? Thanks. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.
